PET FRIENDLY

Traveling with your pet can sometimes be very frustrating if the hotel or motel accommodation that you are interested in does not have a pet friendly policy. A pet friendly policy normally implies that the motel guests are allowed to bring their pet into their room with them during their stay. There are several things that you can do to minimize the stress that both you and your beloved pet may feel while traveling. Different hotels and resorts will have restrictions and possible fees associated with your pet. Be certain to have all of your vaccinations and shots up to date before leaving or entering the country and travel with the appropriate documentation.

These motels and hotels have a limited number of rooms available for guests traveling with pets so to avoid disappointment call ahead and make a reservation. Most hotels have a small fee for those traveling with their pets. Barking dogs or loud animals are almost always expelled so be sure to keep your pet quiet.  In addition many properties do not allow a pet to roam free in the room while you are out.  Be sure put the pet in a crate or carrier if you plan to leave the room.
