Your Antelope Canyon Tour starts off with a scenic and narrated ride from the Red Rocks of Sedona, through Oak Creek Canyon (from Sedona - one of the top 10 scenic drives in America) and through the towering Ponderosa Pines of Flagstaff.
After meeting our guests from *Flagstaff, your Antelope Canyon Tour will take you past the dormant volcanoes which make up the San Francisco Peaks and through the Navajo Nation. Throughout your travels, you'll receive informative and entertaining narration about the areas through which you pass from some of the most experienced and knowledgeable tour guides from the *Sedona and *Flagstaff areas. Travel through the Navajo Reservation as our guide shares with you stories of this ancient culture and information about the amazing geology and vistas along the way.
Prior to your arrival in Page, Arizona, you will walk out to Horseshoe Bend, a beautiful vista overlooking the Colorado River near mile one of Grand Canyon National Park. After Horseshoe Bend, you will head through Page, Arizona to see the Glen Canyon Dam and Lake Powell. Afterwards, you will have worked up an appetite, and we will head to a complimentary lunch.
After lunch, you will meet your Navajo guide for a spactacular tour of Antelope Canyon. As the angle of the sun changes, you opportunity for photos change. Walk with the Navajo through the curves of this red rock slot canyon. Visitors often fill their memory cards and use up all their film. Bring extra! Occasionally sounds of flute music echoes off the walls.
After your 1.5-hour tour of the amazing slot canyons, on your return trip from Antelope Canyon, you'll pass by the western edge of the Painted Desert as you re-cross the Navajo Reservation for a stop at the historic Cameron Trading Post. Shop for all sorts of Native American arts and crafts and visit The Gallery, home of many fine and rare pieces of Indian Arts and Crafts.
Includes: Oak Creek Canyon, Painted Desert, Horseshoe Bend, Lake Powell, Glen Canyon Dam, Volcanoes, the Colorado River. You will have an opportunity to visit with Native People and shop at trading posts.
Please Note: This tour requires walking on uneven ground for 90 minute durations. Third party vendor does not allow women more than 5 months pregnant on tour. No children 5 or under allowed on this tour. No dogs, including service dogs, as per our third party vendor. *Complimentary Sedona & Flagstaff hotel pickup within city limits.
