Soldier Pass Trail - Exclusive

Old Bear Wallow

Climb this early stagecoach route along Schnebly Hill Road through Bear Wallow Canyon onto the Mogollon Rim to enjoy stunning views of Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon 2,000 feet below.  The 3-hour tour features a 4x4 excursion along the scenic volcanic rim trail among the world's lagest continuous stand of Ponderosa Pines. *SITE 1 "Spirit Hunters" PETROGLYPHS (PREMIER TOUR)
This is a "must see." Unknown to archaeologists until a chance discovery in 1990, these remarkable petroglyph panels are some of the best preserved and most revealing rock art records in the Verde Valley. Highlights include an authentic solar calendar and an exciting scenic canyon jeep trail with a short, adventurous hike to the hidden site just below the rim.

For the individual who enjoys wading a shallow stream or scampering up a short trail in order to experience Northern Arizona's best-kept archaeological secret.  Travel by van to the caves, hand-carved into the limestone cliffs above the Verde River.  Nearly 100 cave groups with some 400 rooms in all - the ancient cave dwellings of the Sinagua.
