Grand Canyon Railway
Featuring turn-of-the-century steam engines in the summer and vintage diesel engines the remainder of the year, you can make the most of a trip to the Grand Canyon by foregoing the automobile traffic and taking this fun-filled ride from the town of Williams, a 1-1/2 hour drive from Sedona, to the 1910 Grand Canyon depot just a few hundred feet from the Canyon's rim. A 9:30am departure puts you at the Grand Canyon before noon where you have 3-1/2 hours to take in the sites on your own or one of several motorcoach tours. The train returns to Williams at 5:30pm. Coach to Luxury Parlor class service available. Rates from $58/person+tax, discount for children 2-16.
